Second Trip to Citrus Valley

On Dec 21 we've made a second trip to Citrus Valley to collect specimens and also checked the traps condition.Luckily,our traps especially malaise trap was still in good condition although heavy downpour occur lately.However,our yellow pan traps were fully occupied with rain water and as a result,we got only a few specimens from these traps.

The most effective traps were malaise where we got so many specimens.From malaise traps we got various flying insects.

For stainer trap,we got a few fruitflies.

The collected specimen were brought to lab and preserved in vile containing alcohol (picture) for subsequent sorting and identifiaction of each insect accordingly.
